About Us

We started as builders. We became specialists.

01 Origin

Five years of building under pressure.

IVDisplays Digital Services was founded in Kolkata, India in July 2013. Our early years were spent building and failing productively. Our first venture — Meratiffin, a food discovery platform — taught us what happens when a strong product idea meets a market that isn't ready for it. The platform worked. The model didn't survive.

But five years of building under pressure, iterating fast, and confronting failure directly shaped the delivery standard we carried into every engagement that followed: Zero Defect, Zero Downtime.

In 2018 we made a deliberate decision. We stopped taking general work and moved exclusively into US K12 education administration — a market where compliance failures have real consequences for real students. We brought one principle from those early years into every engagement: if it's worth building, it's worth building without defects.

Our first engagement was Jersey City Public Schools in New Jersey. Eight years later that standard has never been broken.

02 The Arc

  1. 2013

    Founded in Kolkata

The general software phase begins — building, iterating, and failing productively.

  2. 2013—18

    Meratiffin

A food discovery platform. The product worked; the model didn't survive. Five years that forged the Zero Defect standard.

  3. 2018

    K12-exclusive

A deliberate move out of general work and into US K12 compliance. First engagement: Jersey City Public Schools.

  4. 2026

    Eight years, unbroken

14 production applications, 43 locations, zero defects — and a model now extending across New Jersey.

03 What We Found in K12

The costly problems are the ones no one is talking about.

That engagement taught us something that shapes everything we build: the problems that cost districts the most money are rarely the ones anyone is talking about. They live in the gap between systems — between the student information system and the state reporting portal, between the asset ledger and the E-Rate filing, between what the business office thinks it knows and what the public records actually show.

We find those gaps first. Then we build the infrastructure to close them.

04 How We Work

Not a software company that sells licenses and moves on.

Every engagement begins with forensic analysis of publicly available district data — audit management reports, USAC filings, ASSA records, budget documents. We map the specific dollar cost of what we find before we propose a solution.

If our product suite addresses the gap directly, we deploy fast. If the district's workflows require something that doesn't exist yet, we build to specification. Every solution is purpose-built — not configured from a generic template, not retrofitted from another district's deployment.

We operate from Kolkata with a dedicated engineering team and a US K12 intelligence function. Our analysts research district compliance profiles continuously. Our developers build and maintain production systems on AWS US-East. Our founder, Vinay Menon, leads every client engagement personally.

05 Why New Jersey

Where our proof point lives.

Our current focus is New Jersey's urban and suburban districts — among the most complex compliance environments in the country, with some of the largest E-Rate allocations, the most active state audit functions, and the highest stakes for ASSA accuracy.

It is the market we know best. It is where our proof point lives. It is where we are building next.

Twelve years of building. Eight years of K12 specialisation. One standard: Zero Defect, Zero Downtime.
